Modi will take the advice and suggestions of the CMs
New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will once again hold a video conference with state CMs today. With Unlock 2.0 coming to an end later this month, Modi will discuss the next steps to be taken. As the number of cases in the country has been on the rise since Unlock was launched, it is likely that the next steps will be taken today.
According to PMO sources, Modi will hold separate talks with the CMs of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and West Bengal today. The meeting is expected to be attended by senior officials including Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Dr Harshavardhan. It seems that the CM, who is aware of the corona conditions during Unlock 2.0 in these states, will receive advice and suggestions from them.
This is the seventh time Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a video conference with chief ministers. Following the meeting, officials said the prime minister would take key decisions on the decisions to be implemented from August 1. He said the PM would discuss issues such as increasing the number of corona diagnostic tests, further restrictions on containment zones, raising public awareness, measures to increase the number of recoveries, as well as giving a boost to the film industry and opening gyms.
